ABOUT SALLY

Sally qualified as a vet in 2003 and worked for 12 years in general equine practice before focusing on chiropractic care. She gained the RCVS Certificate in Equine Practice in 2007 and spent 11 years as part of the brilliant team at Catley Cross Veterinary Clinic on the Suffolk-Essex border. The investigation of lameness and poor performance was a huge part of her work and she became interested in the role of physical therapies in treating such cases. She decided to study animal chiropractic and completed her training with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic in 2014.

Sally initially carried out chiropractic treatments alongside her regular veterinary work and she continued her education with training in further techniques such as myofascial release and Stammer Kinetics. Treating horses with these techniques soon took over her working time and she set up her own business "Sally Cobbald Veterinary Chiropractic" in 2015. She developed good relationships with the local practices, many of whom would refer cases for treatment. Working alongside other therapists, farriers and saddlers has also helped her to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.

In 2016 Sally and her family relocated to the Wiltshire-Dorset border and she now accepts referrals in this area, in addition to travelling back regularly to East Anglia of work.

“Sally is incredibly thorough and uses her knowledge and skills to achieve some fantastic results. I can always feel the difference after my horse has been treated”
